The Callison-Adson is a highly specialized evolution of the classic Adson design. It features the signature 1×2 interlocking teeth for secure tissue handling, but with a critical addition: a smooth, polished tying platform located just behind the teeth. This allow the surgeon to grasp tissue and tie off delicate sutures with the same instrument, eliminating the need to switch tools mid-closure and significantly reducing operative time.
