Product Overview
Designed specifically for use with the Tupper’s Universal Hand Table (or similar “Star” frames), these ball chains act as the primary tensioning mechanism for digital and soft-tissue exposure. The 21cm (210mm) length provides the necessary reach for larger frames or high-angle retraction. Each chain features a precision-forged hook at one end, designed to atraumatically grasp skin, tendons, or specialized finger traps, while the ball-chain geometry “dead-locks” into the notches of the hand table frame.
Key Features
-
“Beast-Lock” Tensioning: The spherical ball-chain design allows for micro-incremental adjustments. The surgeon can pull the chain through the frame’s slots to achieve the exact tension required, locking it instantly at any point along the 21cm length.
-
Atraumatic Fixation Hooks: The hooks are engineered with a specific curvature to provide a secure “beast” grip on soft tissue or rubber bands without causing unnecessary trauma or sliding during high-stakes maneuvers.
-
High-Tensile Flexibility: Forged from premium surgical-grade stainless steel, these chains offer the flexibility of a wire with the structural authority of a rigid retractor. They can be angled in any direction to create a perfectly customized operative window.
-
Modular Compatibility: While optimized for the Tupper system, these 21cm chains are universally compatible with most slotted hand-fixation frames used in orthopedic and plastic surgery.
-
Surgical-Grade Resilience: Built to withstand the constant mechanical stress of high-tension retraction. The links are reinforced to prevent snapping, and the entire unit is fully autoclavable for thousands of sterilization cycles.
